Of all the bilingual San Diego wedding DJs around, Lindsey & Andrew chose me to DJ and MC their intercultural Brick wedding in Liberty Station on Friday, November 11, 2016.
THE LOVE STORY
The first time Lindsey and Andrew met each other was in a car ride to San Diego. Together they enjoy going on weekend adventures, going to car shows, coffee, and spending time with their adopted kitty Kalesse. For their honeymoon, they are planning a Christmas trip to Italy! At Tom Ham’s Lighthouse on Christmas Eve 2015 in front of all Lindsey’s family and friends, Andrew got down on one knee with a very special question for Lindsey.
THE RECEPTION AT THIS BRICK WEDDING IN LIBERTY STATION
After the wedding party was introduced to Kanye West’s “Fade,” the newlyweds went into their First Dance to John Legend’s “All of Me.” Then everyone ate and toasted. Lindsey danced with her mom to Christina Aguilera’s “I Turn To You.” Andrew then danced with his mom to “Too Marvelous for Words” by Frank Sinatra. After a group photo on the dance floor, we started dancing 🙂
THE BILINGUAL PLAYLIST
For the cocktail hour and dinner, the bride and groom requested Pearl Jam, Radiohead, Lana Del Rey, Tragically Hip, Frank Sinatra, John Legend, Michael Buble, Sin Banderas, & Enanitos Verdes. For dancing, the must play list consisted of: Celia Cruz’ “La Vida Es un Carnaval,” Marc Anthony’s “Vivir Mi Vida,” Café Tacuba’s “La Ingrata,” Isly Bros’ “Shout,” Drake, Kanye West, Rolling Stones, Beatles, “La Chona,” “Caballo Dorado,” and “Suavemente.”
Again, I was honored to be the one and only bilingual San Diego wedding DJ Lindsey & Andrew trusted with their big day. Thank you! See more at #lindrewgethitched.
