There was only one San Diego wedding DJ at Annie and Alex’s Birch Aquarium wedding in La Jolla…and it was this fab female! Yea!!!
OH MY GOD! YOU’RE WEARING A DRESS!
On Saturday, July 25th, at the Birch Aquarium in La Jolla, she was in a fabulous tea-length gown bee-bopping down the aisle arm in arm with her dad. Someone from the crowd shouted, “Oh my god! You’re wearing a dress!” Everyone laughed cheerfully. Well, needless to say, Annie shed the dress for a pimpin’ black suit after dinner. We were fortunate enough to borrow the above photo in the short-lived dress moment from Jonathan Massmann Photography (Santa Cruz CA).
THE DEETS @ THIS BIRCH AQUARIUM WEDDING
For this Birch Aquarium wedding, we did covers by the Postmodern Jukebox for the cocktail hour & dinner. After a gorgeous sunset, beach-overlooking ceremony, guests were free to wonder the aquarium (OK, and my assistant too!) A delicious family-style dinner was served adjacent to succulent & exotic florals intertwined with driftwood on the farm-style tables.
UNITE SEATTLE-ITES!
After emotional toasts & an upbeat Grand Entrance, I kicked off the dancing with some Macklemore for this Seattle crowd (my hometown as well).
