Marina Village is one of San Diego’s most popular event venues offering tons of parking, a waterfront view, and insanely low prices. It’s an older facility, and I have issues with power outages/throwing the fuse box, lack of functioning outlets, cleanliness, and long waits for the maintenance staff/building engineer to connect or fix the electricity. No one will be servicing the bathroom during your event–it’s common for trash cans to fill up & overflow before the last dance. And because DJs have to tape down cables in the corners on the floor, I can tell you they do not appear to sweep or mop the floor between events. Take a peek at this Catalina Room wedding, this Baja Room wedding, these Bayview Room weddings, and this Seaside Room wedding (this is my favorite banquet room at Marina Village).
