This Ponte Winery Barrel Room wedding was chic and elegant through & through on 10-26-2014. Of course, the Ponte Winery is an upscale, serene setting. The ceremony violinist was amazing. She played Bright Eyes as Corina entered (escorted by her sister) & One Direction for the recessional. The couple poured red & white wine together to form a rose in place of lighting a unity candle or doing a sand ceremony. And Danielly Prestes Photography was on hand to capture every elegant detail.

With just 52 guests at this Sunday wedding, the vibe was easy breezy & intimate. The First Dance was “Flightless Bird” by Iron & Wine. During the First Dance, I invited married couples to join them on the dance floor. Corina presented her bouquet to the longest married couple (39 years). Their marriage advice for the newlyweds? Your marriage has to be the most important thing.

In addition to DJing, I also provided amazing pink uplights that gave the Ponte Winery’s Barrel Room a warmer, cozier look (warm being key since the room is kept at 58 degrees!), cake pinspot, & candy buffet. Our candy buffet theme was “Mint to Be” so I had Junior Mints front & center with light green and pink sixlets, green Laffy Taffy, lime-flavored candy cane sticks, and green apple taffy. Cute AND yummy!
Despite it being Sunday night, the frigid room temperature, & the small crowd, I was able to get a little dancing going at the end of the night.
