On July 30, 2016, Kelly and Brian tied the knot where her dad had kept his boat docked for years…with the owner of Marina Village in attendance no less. But, this Marina Village Seaside Room wedding didn’t really become a seed until Kelly and Brian met on September 13, 2012, on OkCupid. Brian messaged Kelly because she talked a lot about fantasy football on her dating profile. They had both attended grad school at UCLA at the same time and lived within one mile of each other AND yet had never met.
Their first “I love you?” It was right before Christmas and one of the ‘presents’ that Brian gave Kelly was to tell her that he loves her. This is still a moment of contention because Brian says he’s the first one to say ‘I love you’ but Kelly maintains that she felt it first. However, there were no doubts on May 25, 2015.
Kelly & Brian accidentally double booked themselves for two events that 2015 Memorial Day–they had a friend’s wedding in the Bay Area on Saturday night but also booked a flight to go to LA to visit friends and family. Instead of picking one, they decided to do both! While on the LA leg of their trip, Brian managed to get Kelly back to the site of their first date at Playa del Rey in LA. Suddenly, Brian was down on one knee. Kelly didn’t know what was going on until she saw a ring in his hand!
Together they enjoy Fantasy Football, going to Giants games, sharing meals (i.e. Kelly cooking and Brian eating), spending time with their puppy Luna and cat Minka, playing sports together, singing in the car together, watching trashy TV shows, playing tennis, going on bike rides, trying out new restaurants, and camping. They are planning a trip to Maui for their honeymoon.

Kelly and Brian are HUGE Justin Timberlake fans so I think I ended up playing 5 or 6 JT songs throughout the night. Kelly walked down the aisle to the Vitamin String Quartet version of “Just Like Heaven.” I did Big Band/Old Jazz/Swing for dinner music.
