Paige Koerner and I met almost exactly 2 years ago at Taylor & Travis’ to-die rustic, vintage Red Barn Ranch wedding in Pauma Valley. We also had the chance to work together again at Nicole & Zac’s laid-back, beachy Coronado Cays Yacht Club wedding last year. AND Paige just got engaged herself…woot woot!

What are your top 3 wedding accomplishments you are most proud of?
“My top three accomplishments is I was just recently awarded the 2016 Knot Best of Weddings for San Diego Photography! Being able to work with amazing San Diego vendors to help bring beautiful days to beautiful people. And, last but not least, being able to share my passion with the world and beautiful couples!”

How did Forever Young Photography start doing weddings?
“I photographed my first wedding after working at a Portrait Studio for 5 years through high school and college. It was a coworker’s wedding in San Diego. It was the most beautiful experience I have ever been a part of, and I instantly fell in love with well …. LOVE :)”
Most interesting thing that ever happened at a wedding you worked?
“The most interesting thing I have had happen to me at a wedding that I worked at was during a toast to the couple the bride’s two sisters rapped the Fresh Prince of Bel Air, but–here is the kicker–they replaced the lyrics to match the couple’s rich history! It was fantastic!!!”
When you are not at a wedding on any given Saturday, what would you most likely be doing?
“Exploring California with my fiance Jeff and our fur baby Coco. We love exploring new places, spending time with our loved ones, trying new food, and of course the occasional trip to Disneyland <3”
If you could tell engaged couples everywhere one thing, what would it be?
“Enjoy every minute of it, I am currently engaged myself. It has been one of the most amazing experiences in my life, and take lots of pictures, of course lol! Don’t take everything for granted, and don’t get tied up in the little things. Your marriage is going to be the most beautiful aspect of your wedding day!”
Dish about what will be important at your own wedding…
“Wedding photography! I truly believe that your day should be captured well, invest in a photographer who you get along with and has a style that you absolutely love! After everything is said and done, your wedding photography is what you will cherish for the rest of your life and your families life!”
