Erin & Pete met at Penn State in Biology class. They fell in love after sharing mix tapes. But their love ultimately came together on Saturday, November 22, 2014, at their La Jolla Women’s Club wedding. After a lovely church ceremony, the newlyweds & guests headed over to the Women’s Club for the reception.
THE LA JOLLA WOMEN’S CLUB WEDDING RECEPTION
With live guitar & lawn games for the cocktail hour, guests enjoyed the ambiance of the side garden. Dinner was an amazing food station spread featuring everything from sushi to salad! After a super fun & high energy Grand Entrance, Erin & Pete shared their first dance to more live guitar. Towards the end of dinner, there was a live piano & singing performance of “To Make You Feel My Love.”
THE FIRST SLICE OF CAKE…
One of the highlights of the night was when the new Mr. & Mrs. shared their first piece of wedding cake with the bride’s parents to honor their 31st wedding anniversary which had been a few days earlier. We smoothly transitioned that wonderful moment into a special anniversary slow dance for them combined with a bouquet presentation ceremony to the longest married couple. See it on the video here.
BOO! CURFEW!
Unfortunately the dance par-tay had to end at 8:30 PM for the La Jolla Woman’s Club curfew, but the fun continued just a few blocks away at an Irish pub!
